Welcome to our site.

The purpose of our site is to be an information source for all antique and collector lovers. We want to be informative and have fun at the same time. Life's too short to do things in any other manner. We will share our information and collections. You are very welcome to do the same.

A brief explanation of our site follows:

  • EVENTS CALENDAR contains antique and collector shows, flea markets, auctions of interest to collectors and dealers in Illinois, current collector conventions, and other special events.
  • REFERENCE LIBRARY consists of both current and out-of-print   resources and reference material as well as links to many sites we have found very useful.
  • UNCLE LAR'S WORKSHOP constains restoration tips and lessons, care of collections, and associated links.
  • COLLECTOR CORNER contains collector club and organizational   listings with their activities and links.
  • DEALERS CORNER will contain future show information, sales aids we hope will be of value, and promoter links.
  • NEWSLETTER will be sent monthly by email to subscribers. It will contain current auctions, antique news, updates to our web site, club happenings,  and other information we feel will be of value to you.

We invite fellow collectors to write to us about their collections, clubs, event promotions, questions and suggestions.

This site is designed for you and we hope you will take an active part in it.
